Los Roques is a group of islands and coral reefs located 88 Nautical Miles north of Venezuelan Capital City of Caracas. It is a great place to go scuba diving, kite surfing, surfing, and windsurfing.
You can also go and relax in one of the 'posadas' (beach-style hotels) in the major island called "Gran Roque" or navigate across the islands in one of the beatiful catamaran boats that you can hire for a more provate and exclusive voyage.
To arrive to Los Roques you may catch a plane from the National Terminal of MaiquetÃa Airport in the coast 20 miles north from Caracas or you may alternatively catch a plane at the Aeropuerto de Caracas in Charallave (Mainly charters).
